Review by hotel critic
I recently spent a night at the Esplanade, and it was certainly an experience worth sharing. The hotel beautifully combines old-world charm with a well-maintained, spacious room that feels cozy and inviting. The huge window overlooking the picturesque harbor added a lovely touch. One perk is the free Wi-Fi, perfect for a freelancer like me. Despite appearances, the room was warm and peaceful-ideal for some yoga sessions in the morning. I appreciated the large, comfortable bed and the excellent shower pressure in the well-updated bathroom. The location is excellent, with easy ferry access for family reunions, and I enjoyed dinner at Devon On the Wharf nearby. For the price, you get great value, especially for those looking for a charming getaway without breaking the bank. Just keep in mind it's a historic building, so some TLC is evident.
